Hot Take: Your fall listing photos have an expiration date
Hi {{first_name}},
Hot take: your fall listing photos have an expiration date
Right now central PA yards are at their best. In a few weeks the leaves drop, the lawn goes brown, and that same house looks like it’s sitting in November. The window to shoot fall color is short.
And the days are getting shorter, so the light you’re used to from summer shoots is gone earlier every week.
Fall shoot playbook
1) Book exteriors now — even if the listing goes live later, capture the color while it’s on the trees.
2) Schedule earlier in the day. Afternoon light fades fast in October; plan the shoot around the sun, not the end of your workday.
3) Add a twilight. Sunset comes early now, so twilight shoots fit right after a normal workday — and a lit-up house reads warm and cozy.
4) Clear the leaves. Ask sellers to blow off the driveway, walkways, and front steps the morning of the shoot.
“Shoot it while it’s gold, list it whenever you’re ready.”
Got a listing coming this fall or a seller still deciding? Lock in exteriors and a twilight before the color is gone.
